Join the Team
Join us as we work to serve others for the glory of God! There are lots of opportunities for you to join a team and use your gifts at The Chapel.
Do you love to work with children? Our Children’s Ministry (birth – 6th grade) is a place for children to build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their faith. You can help to shepherd and care for little ones during our Sunday services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word in our Kids’ Church program! We are always glad to have new teachers, assistants and check-in volunteers join our Children’s Ministry Team.
Do you love to work with teens? Our Student Ministry (7th–12th grade) is a place for students to grow in their faith as they become fully devoted followers of Christ. Join us in helping to encourage, mentor and disciple students on Wednesday evenings at Ignition! We are always glad to have new small group leaders, assistants and volunteers join our Student Ministry Team.
In order to Connect to Grow, we are working to double the number of Growth Groups we offer over the next five years. We believe that you can’t do life alone–we can’t grow spiritually unless we are connected in a group with other believers. If you have a heart for encouraging others, fostering good conversations and helping people to grow in their faith, let us know! We’d love to talk to you about leading a Growth Group.
As a church, we want to help each other Grow to Serve God and others. Our Mentorship Ministry will provide classes to train believers in discipleship and ministry skills in an ongoing manner. If you are interested in helping others to grow in their knowledge and faith as a Mentor, let us know and we will keep you informed about upcoming events! We’d love to have you join us.
As we work towards our vision to Serve to Share, we want to be out working in our community as a pathway to sharing the Gospel with our neighbors. There are already several things we do to serve our community, but we are seeking ways to do even more good in our community. If serving our community is something that you are passionate about, let us know! We’d love to have you join our Outreach Team.
Church Plant Team
In the next 5 years, we will endeavor to plant a daughter church in our area. We believe this is in line with our heritage as an “Outreach for Christ!” It’s what our church was founded to do nearly 50 years ago. If you would like to be involved in the planning and preparations for this church plant, let us know! We’d love to have you join our Church Plant Team.
Do you love technology? We’d love to have you assist the production our worship service. We provide training. If you have past experience in helping with audio/visual, video production and running ProPresenter, even better!
We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping out with things like our Annual Picnic, Baptisms and Funeral Luncheons. We also need servers for Communion and Ushers who help with taking up the offering.
Do you like to cook and have a desire to help families? Join the Meal Team! We prepare meals for Chapel families during times of need, such as illness and births. If you can make a meal from time to time, sign up and we’ll add you to our list.
