Littlestown Chapel and the Coronavirus: An Update from Pastor Scott Morgan

by | Jun 6, 2020 | News and Updates

Dear Chapel Family,

I hope that each of you are doing well, staying healthy and strong! The summer-like weather that we’ve experienced recently has been a positive mood booster.

We just learned today that Gov. Wolf has authorized Adams and York Counties in Pennsylvania to move into the green phase of reopening as of June 12. This is good news for those who are eager for in-person public worship services to commence. The elders will be meeting shortly to draft a plan for coming back to church, and we will be communicating the details of that information to you as soon as possible.

We will continue to offer worship online as we have the past 10+ weeks, as well as holding a scaled back live worship service at the Chapel.

Celebrate Recovery will begin holding in-person public gatherings on Friday, June 19.

Be sure to check out this week’s digital bulletin for the latest information on VBS-to-Go. This will be a great time for your family or the children in your neighborhood.

Just over the horizon another special event is planned: the Chapel Luau on Saturday, June 27. Imagine a drive-in movie with a Polynesian theme that’s suitable for young and old alike, snow cones, popcorn, and a brief VBS report. Details are forthcoming.

Plans are already in the works for a big church picnic later in July.

We’ll keep in touch. God bless each of you!

Pastor Scott
